Fitness Fail – Donut Binge
I’m not proud of this, but I’m sharing it anyway in case anyone else out there experiences a setback like this. I want you to know, you’re not alone.
Today I ate an entire bag of donuts. In one sitting.
After over a month of walking increasing distances, logging my miles, recruiting people to join me, and even losing a few pounds along the way… I had a weak moment. There is something about those little chocolate covered donuts that calls out to me and I have a hard time saying no — such a hard time that I ate the whole dang bag!
Last week I started a new routine of combing short sprints of running into my walking routine, in hopes of becoming an actual RUNNER. This setback was a little humbling but, if anything, it’s got me motivated to work harder now.
